Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamanna’s multistarrer film Oopiri with a tagline Celebration of life is scheduled for a release on 5th February, 2016. The film is touted to be the remake of the superhit French film The Intouchables.
Oopiri is an emotional-drama with
ample comedy, and the film was shot majorly in Paris, Lyon and Belgrade. Nagarjuna will be seen as a wheelchair bound paraplegic while Karthi is his assistant and Tamanna as his secretary. The movie also casts Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Gabriella Demetriades and Ali in pivotal roles, while Anushka has done a crucial cameo.

Vamsi Paidipally is directing Oopiri in Telugu-Tamil bilingual versions under leading production house PVP Cinema. Award winning music director Gopi Sunder is providing the soundtrack for the film.
Nagarjuna’s Soggade Chinni Nayana film with Ramya Krishna and Lavanya Tripati as female leads is slated for a release in December.
