Venkaiah Naidu showered praises on Mahesh Babu's performance and the message story line which has touched to all sections of audience. Galla Jayadev said that the film good with a social message.

Srimanthudu is nearing 50 Crores collections in just a week of its release. Shruthi Hassan is lead actress and Koratala Shiva directed this movie. Mythri Movie Makers and MB Productions bankrolled this film and tunes are by Devi Sri Prasad.
