Story :-
Harsha (Harshavardhan Rane) and Mohini (Poorna) as shown in the first part of Avunu she escapes from Captain Raju (Ravi Babu) and the newly wed-couple now shifts to a new flat in the city. After settling in the house, the couple goes to Kasi and gets a holy thread from a Agora which can avoid evil spirit.
While they are back to the city, Captain Raju's spirit raises in search of Mohini and resides in their new flat. Rest of the story is how Mohini will tackle with Captain Raju is rest of the story...
Performances :-
Harshavardhan Rane is best in his role as a husband to Poorna and developed few abilities in his performance like wise in the expression.
Poorna is soul and heart. She carried entire film on her shoulder and her expressions in grief moments are well established.
Sanjjana, Nikitha, Chakravarthy and Ravi Babu are good in their characters. Others are adequate.
Technical Analysis :-
Sekhar Chandra's Background scroe for this part didn't bring up the wanted mood in thrilling elements. The main minus for the tune and going sound looks blunder at times. Cinematography is top-notch and dialogues are crisp. Editing could be better. Production values are standard.
Analysis :-
First half of Avunu 2 kick starts where it ends in Avunu. The scenes on the flow aren't interesting but the narration gets you in to the story. Nothing much revealed in this half gets tuned for the later half.
Second half brings up needed thrilling elements and the pace is racy and the screenplay is quite gripping. The scenes in between Poorna and Captain Raju are good. Torching the spirit in few came out well. Climax ended up at a fast note but it makes a cinema on a whole.
