Zustcinema presents Aadi starrer Gaalipatam Movie review in a while. Sampath Nandi's maiden production film Galipatam releasing in a grand way on August 8th.
Story
Karthi (Aadi), Swathi (Erika Fernandes) are said to be best couple by their friends and colleques and works in a software company. They lead their married life as a responsibility rather than love because both of them had separate love story.
Coming to the flashback , Karthi has fallen for Parineethi aka Paru (Kristina Akheeva) who wants to marry her but Paru doesn't believe in his love. On other side Swathi is being deeply loved by Arav Reddy (Rahul Ravindran) but due to her parents pressure Swathi married Karthi. While the story comes to the present rest of the story is about what the couple does forms crux.
Performances
The role is tailor made to Aadi and asusual he delivers his best performance. He improved a lot in all fields.
Kristina is good as Swathi and Erica Fernandes is ok with her looks and natural performance. Rahul Ravindran is good with his performance.
Sapthagiri brings few laughs so Posani Krishna Murali does. Pragathi does a decent role. Other are adequate.
Technical Analysis
Sampath Nandi proved once again he is perfect screenplay writer. Bheems has given perfect tunes for such love story. Bujji's camera work is good and dialogues are impressive. Naveen Gandhi gets a thumbs up for his debutant directorial work. Production values are standard.
Analysis
First half of Gaalipatam moves on entertaining elements like few romantic scenes and dialogues with masala punches. The story here dealt is only between couples and the interval scenes brings a thrill feeling and wait for the second half.
Second half of the film is main asset which brings out the true relationships with depth emotions and sentiment scenes. As the film runs towards climax it looks dragged with few forced comedy scenes which could be edited. Climax is dealt clean but should see how this complicated relationships story connect to telugu audience.
