South India's renowed Writer, Director Sattiraju Lakshminararyana aka Bapu has been passed away due to cardiac arrest on August 31st in Chennai.
Bapu was 80 and undergoing treatment in a private
hospital hereby in Chennai from couple of days. Bapu is known for his golden films like Sri Rama Rajyam, Pelli Pustakam, Mr.Pellam, Ram Bantu and many such in his crown. He has countless awards for his contribution to Indian Cinema and Art. Bapu Bomma, The Navarasas, and the Indian Dances etc. are his contribution to the art.
Bapu has been awarded Padma Shri and also won 5 AP State Nandi Awards, 2 National Awards, 2 Filmfares.
