Alisha Baig is a clean performer and does her limited role with ease.

Radhir, Tanikella Bharini are good and others are ok in their roles..

Technical Analysis

Background score and Songs by Mani Sharm are good. BGM elevated the ongoing story which is a plus. Camera work is excellent with colorful backgrounds. Chaitanya Dhantuluri direction should be appreciable. Production values are rich.

Analysis

First half of Basanti takes with entertaining college scenes along with a love track and a run story of terriost planning for series of bomb blasts in Hyderabad. The friendship scenes between Gautam and Alisha Baig are refreshing. Interval scenes are locked well with interesting twists to be revealed in second half.

The later half goes on a twist revealing scenario where the pace of the film falls and tests the patience utmost. In this half few scenes are just illogical and lacks gripped screenplay in second half.  One can watch the film for dialogues, lead characters performance and story which was told was impressive.

ZC Take :- Basanti just a watchable film

Zustcinema Basanti Rating :- 2.75 / 5
