Victory Venkatesh's stylish action entertainer Shadow has hit the big screens for this summer season.Zustcinema presents Shadow Movie Review here...

Zustcinema Shadow Rating :- 2/5

Story

Rajaram (Venkatesh) is the son of
undercover journalist Raghuram (Naga Babu) who falls in the hands of mafia don Nana Bhai (Aditya Pancholi) because of making a report on his illegal activities. Nana Bhai kills all the family members of Raghuram except Rajaram who escapes from the carnage.

Rajaram further bought up by Baba (Nasser) and turns as Shadow to take revenge on Nana Bhai. Rajaram searches all the ways to put an end to the mafia don. Here comes dynamic police officer Prathap (Srikanth) who is also in the post to put an end to illegal activities of Nana Bhai. Here the twists turn where Rajaram comes to know his relationship with Prathap... Rest of the story what is the relationship between Rajaram and Prathap? Will Rajaram take revenge....

Performances

Venkatesh as Rajaram played the role at his best but the direction part is very weak that it couldn't deal with such senior actors.Venky looked stylish and performed well in action scenes and his ideal scenes of emotions and a little bit of comedy.

Tapsee is beautiful in songs but her role doesn't ink with this story. The actress is gorgeous in Naughty Girl song.

Srikanth,Madhurima played their roles asusal where MS Narayana bought few laughs,Jaya Prakash Reddy,Vennela Kishore and Krishna Bhagawan are wasted.Naga Babu,Rahul Dev are good at their performance. Aditya Pancholi as Nana Bhai is natural and Geeta played her best.

Technical Analysis

Prasad Murella's camera work too has no richness even though the film was shot in foreign. Thaman songs and background scores are Ok. Dialogues are intolerable and editing could be much better. Direction part is big letdown for the film.

Analysis

Shadow is a torturous film made by Meher Ramesh. It tested everyone's patience till the end.
First half of the film starts with the story of a journalist running back of a mafia don where the scenes are too much bore to watch. It is the old concept of the dons killing the weak and falling to the prey of their heirs. Even the comedy scenes are very usual and looked irritating.

Second half makes the same boreness goes on to the story with emotional scenes but the Meher Ramesh flashed out to the weakest point to his direction. Few scenes of Tapsee pointing as Aunty, Venkatesh loosing his memory and acting as a child and other scenes are torture. Gabbar Singh Antyakshari scenes and few scenes with MS Narayana just bought few laughs. Rest of the film never touches the story nor the screenplay. Only Style has given importance nothing much.

My Take :-

Shadow never leaves its trace the film too wipes out everything....

ZC Take :-

It’s your own risk to touch this ‘Shadow’
