Anushka's forthcoming period-drama film Rudrama Devi has commenced its shooting on April 27th and the filmmakers are in plans to wrap up the shoot of the film in 5 schedules.

of the film will be finished by this year, December.First schedule is progressing in a special set erected in Hyderabad.
Further informed that Rudrama Devi will be visual granduer.Rudrama Devi will be released in telugu and tamil versions in 3D version.
Rana Daggubati is playing the role of Chalakya Veerabadrudu while Beba Sehgal as Nagadevudu,Aditi Chengappa as Anushka's sister Ganapamba and also casts Krishnam Raju, Prakash Raj, Tanikella Bharani, Krishna Bhagawan, Venu Madhav, Jayaprakash Reddy,Aditya Menon,Nathalia Kaur,Hamsa Nandini and others in key roles.
Gunasekhar is directing the film and music is being scored by Music Maestro Illayaraja and art by Thota Tharani.Rudrama Devi is being produced under Guna Team Works Banner.
