Story
Buchi Babu (Sunil) comes back to India after a 6 years long gap from USA.His family members forces him to marry and that's the reson he lands in India and falls for Anjali (Isha Chawla) in his first pelli choopulu.Knowing of Anjali having a boy friend, Buchi Babu plans to see other bridegrooms who are best to him.
Buchi Babu and Anjali come close together in Buchi Babu’s friend Naayar marriage.Here takes the U turn.As Buchi Babu has love on Anjali, he takes help of Bachi (Ali) to win her heart.Rest of the story is How Buchi babu wins his love Anjali ?
Performances
Sunil dances are good while his makeover and look in this film is soo odd.Due to look with unmatched hairstyle his performance goes in the air.
Isha Chawla is glamours as Anjali and looked beautiful in chudidars and sarees in songs.Her performance is good with suitable expressions.
Ali is good,Ravi Babu, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam,MS Narayana and others does their best for the roles.
Technical Analysis
S.A. Rajkumar's background score neither songs couldn't make a mark and are big minus for the film.Sameer Reddy's Cinematography is colourful and editing by Nandamuri Hari is not good.Dialouges are ok,Screenplay and direction makes a big thmbs down for Devi Prasad.
Analysis
First half of Mr.Pellikoduku starts with hilarious comedy scenes and characters introduction.As Sunil is best in his way of comedy makes his presence with good dialouges.The first half looks impressive and makes interesting plot to second half.
No one good expect Second half turns out a big patience tester with many songs one after the other and emotional scenes couldn't connect with plot of the film.Even songs are not colourful and some dances by Sunil are good while other irritates all.
We are aware that Bollywood hit film Tanu weds Manu remade as Mr.Pellikoduku.It was a big hit in Hindi but while coming to telugu, weak script,pale screenplay makes one to feel boredom.Devi Prasad bad direction with poor screenplay in second half.Climax fight is not impressive.
