As per the sources bollywood hot actress Priyanka Chopra to play love interest of Mahesh in Veerudu. We all well known that Mani Ratnam never approach for the second time to any star who first rejected his offer. Now it is heard that although Priyanka Chopra turned down the offer of Mani Ratnam in raavan,he is prefering her much apt for this role.Things to happen however it is not officially confirmed.

Meanwhile Priyanka Chopra is busy with her bollywood ongoing projects.When Mani ratnam's Veerudu goes on to the sets Priyanka will complete her film shoots.We believe that Piggy Chops will not miss of acting under Mani Ratnam's direction.

In a recent Media talk Mani ratnam Stated as “Priyanka is in plans of meeting Mani Ratnam very soon. This would be her first Kollywood film and she is all happy to have 200 crore budget mega blockbuster Ponniyin Selvan-Veerudu as her debut.
