Nandamuri Balakrishna's upcoming prestigious 100th project 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' pre-productions are under brisk progress. Director Krish and the film’s team however are intensifying the search to finalize the leading lady of the movie.

in Nayantara as the lead lady, but the busy actress has turned down the offer citing it as call sheets issue. Though Kajal Agarwal, Ileana names were also heard, the actresses also seem to have turned down Gautamiputra Satakarni citing some or other reasons. Krish has now intensified the hunt for the female lead for this historical film, considering the first schedule to roll from the next week in Morocco.

Gautamiputra Satakarni is all about the ruler of Satavahanas, and there are going to be good battle episodes. The team has decided to spend a whopping Rs 8 Crores for single battle episode, which is going to be grand. 800 junior artists and 4 tonnes of materials including war outfits and weapons are part of this mega war episode to be shot in Morocco. Rajeev Reddy is producing Gautamiputra Satakarni under First Frame Entertainment banner and the music is by Devi Sri Prasad.
