Story

Karthik (NTR) is back to India after his studies in US and as of her mother’s (Jayasudha) wish he joins the same college of Indu (Samantha)  who is his mother brothers daughter. After landing in Hyderabad, Karthik thinks Bhagyam (Praneetha) as Indu and impresses her. Later on comes to know his mis assumption prior of realising it Indu falls for Vamsi (Nandu). What is Karthik’s next step to bring his mother wish in to reality forms crux of the story …

Performances

No doubt, It’s is NTR show all the way. He is perfect in his on screen presence, excellent in emotion scenes and rocked with his dance moves.

Samantha is cute and charming in the role of Indu but it is limited. She does her best any way.

Pranitha looks stunningly beautiful and performance at her best in every frame. She is glamorous in chartbuster song Rakasi Rakasi.

Brahmanandam is hilarious and does a clean performance in the second half. Jayasudha, Nagineedu, Nassar and others are good in their roles.

Technical Analysis

Thaman scored tunes are just ok and background score elevated the scenes. Shyam K Naidu camera work is top-notch. Story and Screenplay by Santosh Srinivas is old and routine formula. Editing is up to the mark. Productions Values are rich.

Analysis

Rabhasa first half packs up the main twist and reveals in just 30 mintues and later on moves as predictable. Few scenes like college backdrop scene between NTR, Samantha and Pranitha are just hilarious. Interval sequences are just ok.
Second half runs with the predictable story line packed with bunch of comedy scenes. Brahmanandam and NTR are only the saving grace in this half where it makes audience to stick to the seats. Climax scenes are just imagined.

ZC Take :-

Entertaining Routine Story plot

Zustcinema Rabhasa Rating :- 3.25 / 5
