Race Gurram Movie Review

Stylish Star Allu Arjun Race Gurram Movie Review on Zustcinema in a while. Allu Arjun - Surender Reddy's combo film Race Gurram releasing today worldwide.

Story

Ram (Shyam) and  Lucky (Allu Arjun) are quite contrast while coming to their character. Lucky is a relax guy who acheieve’s his goal at any cost but Ram is a deciplined ACP who follows the rules strictly. Lucky falls for Spandana ( Shruthi hassan) at first sight and starts friendship with her Babai (M.S. Narayana). On the other side Ram falls as prey to Shiva Reddy (Ravi Kishan) a local dangerous politician who wants to kill Ram as he spoils all his plans. Lucky comes to known all this and wants to teach a lesson to Shiva Reddy. Rest of the story is how Lukcy irritates Shiva Reddy forms the crux.

Performances

Allu Arjun performance as carefree guy Lucky is really a big asset for the film. He is best in his comedy timing and improved his dialogue delivery. He once again proved himself as a best dancer in TFI.

Shruti Haasan fullfilled her role with skin show much over to say the glamorous avatar in cinema chupistha attracts the masses. She has a limited role to perform.

Saloni is good , Ravi Kishan is just ok and Brahmanandam is hilarious as Kill Bill Pandey. Shyam is apt and others performed to their best.

Technical Analysis

Thaman tunes are okay and backgroundscore elevated the scenes. Manoj Paramahamsa’s cinematography is excellent. Dialogues are good and laugh riot. Editing is not up to the mark. Surender Reddy’s direction is just okay. Production values are standard.

Analysis

Race Gurram guarantees loads of entertainment with high energy performances and ample stylishness. The film has its ups and downs but the good dose of comedy doesn’t bore you. Allu Arjun delivers career best performance with his style of dialogue modulation while Brahmanandam, Posani, Prakash Raj, Ali joins him in comedy scenes.

Race Gurram first half starts off with the interesting introduction of characters and just makes with slow pace of narration with hilarious comedy at times. Second half is pack of entertainment with all commericial elements. Brahmanandam’s entry makes every one fall of the chairs and few scenes in this half worth watchable. Scenes between Allu Arjun – Kick Shyam are well showcased.

Surender Reddy screenplay with loads of comedy saves the film as the story is routine. Few songs like Gala Gala, Down Down are misplaced. The run time could be trimmed.
