Praveen Sattaru directorial latest film Chandamama Kathalu Movie Review on Zustcinema in a while. The film has released worldwide today in notable theatres.
Story
Saradhi (Kishore), a writer who is in need of 5 lakhs for his daughter cancer surgery. For that he starts writing a story taking lead of real life characters. The story tells us the ongoing life of 30 Years old unmarried Venkateshwar Rao (Krishnudu) , an model Lisa Smith (Manchu Lakshmi), divorced NRI Mohan (Naresh), a widow Saritha (Aamani) , love birds Ashraf (Abhijeet)- Haseena (Richa Panai) and others . Rest of the story is whether Saradhi earns 5 lakhs or not!
Performances
Naresh, Amani does their best and performed well. Lakshmi Manchu does a bold character and lives up to the mark.
Chaitanya Krishna, Krishnudu, Saradhi, Richa Panai and others are good in their performance. Rest are adequate.
Technical Analysis
Mickey J Meyer songs are ok and background is just up to the mark. Suresh Raghutu's cinematography is rich with colors. Dharmendra Kakarala's editing is good. Praveen Sattaru scores only average as his screenplay is weak at times. Production values are good.
Analysis
The first half of Chandamama Kathalu picks with interesting subject of studying seven different characters and their life stories. Every thing seems to feel at right but poor narration and screenplay it tests the audience patience.
Chandamama Kathalu is very weak in its screenplay even though the director has succeded in playing the right diece in the starting of the film. Emotional scenes are not up to the mark and even the later half is ain't good to watch. The concept of the film is very nice but weak direction leaves it boredom film.
