Stylish Star Allu Arjun's latest film Iddarammayilatho has released in record number of theatres worldwide on May 31st. Zustcinema presents Iddarammayilatho Movie Review here.
Story
Sanju
Reddy (Allu Arjun) is guitarist in a troup of band in Spain. He leads
his life with concerts comes in touch with Akansha (Catherine Tresa) who
has come to Spain for her higher studies and she is the daughter of Rao
Ramesh Union Minister in India. Akansha knowing Sanju's love story with
Komali Sankarabharanam (Amala Paul) and tries to known what happened to
his love interest.
Sanju Reddy reveals a trageic twist in love track which makes Akansha to
develop love on him. What was the twist narrated by Sanju ? How Akansha
came to know Sanju-Komali's love story forms the rest of the story ?.
Performances
Allu
Arjun looks are much stylish with quite stylish dance moves for two of
the songs. He danced for Chiranjeevi song which was impressive. Allu
Arjun as Sanju does his best and good in action scenes looks dare devil
in climax.
Catherine
Tresa is beautiful as Akansha and played her role to her best. She is
gorgeous and glared the eyes with glamourous act in songs and few scenes
too.
Amala Paul as Brahmin girl Komali played a decent performance and her onscreen chemistry with Allu Arjun is good.
Brahmanandam,Ali
couldn't reach to the expectations with in their roles. Shawar
Ali,Subba Raju are ok in their roles and others played the roles to
their consicence.
Technical Analysis
Devi Sri Prasad's musical
scores are big plus for the film so to be the background score.
Amol Rathod is effective with his cinematography work and took the movie
to a classy world with top-notch camera colourness. Editing could be
much better. One might think that Puri Jagannath has changed his style
of direction and screenplay. Dialogues are not up the mark of Puri's
earlier film. Production Values are rich.
Analysis
Iddarammayilatho
picks off with racy screenplay in the first half which looks quite
often in Puri Jagganath's film. First half is packed with Allu Arjun's
montenous performance and his romantic track with Catherine Tresa. The
interval twist is was good with makes much more interesting second half.
First
half lacks entertainment elements even Ali as Gudivada Krishna a
psychopath couldn't bring laughs in audience. Second half drags the pace
with slow narration of the twist elements which slowly takes to high.
Brahmanandam failed to entertain as Phidel Brahma it can be said that it was a weak comedy track from Puri
Jagganath's script.
Allu
Arjun's stylish performance,Catherine Tresa's glamour quotient are
major plus points in the film on the flip side a very weak comedy track
and lenghty second half and misplacement of songs are major drawbacks in
the film.
My Take
Iddarammayilatho misses Puri Jagganath's mark....
ZC Take
Weak Entertainment makes Iddarammayilatho an average fare
