The latest news we hear is that, Shankar is considering Bollywood star actor Akshay Kumar for an prominent role in this social message entertainer. Earlier the director has approached Ajay Devgn for the role but the actor rejected the film.

However an official announcement from Akshay Kumar is awaited. Bharatheeyudu 2 film features, Kajal Aggarwal as female lead opposite to Kamal Hassan while Simbu and Dulquer Salman in crucial characters. Anirudh Ravichander to render tunes and Lyca Productions is bankrolling this 2019 release flick.
