Dhoni fame Radhika Apte has finally joined the sets of Mahadev starring Superstar Rajinikanth in lead role and current schedule is progressing in Goa locations.
Filmmakers planned to kick start 3rd schedule of
Mahadeva/Kabali in Chennai but due to heavy rains the location has been shifted to Goa. Radhika Apte will be seen as Rajinikanth's love interest in this commercial gangster based entertainer. Superstar Rajinikanth will be seen as gangster in this actioner.

John Vijay, Dhansika, Dinesh, Kalaiarasan, Rithwika and others are playing prominent characters in this film. Santosh Narayanan is the music director while Kalaipuli S Thanu is the producer and Pa Ranjith is helming megaphone for this 2016 April release film.
