Akhil Akkineni's hero debutant film Akhil has been opened up with mixed responses and doing well at box office with decent collections all the way.
The film has collected Rs.4.36 Crores in
major areas of AP and Telangana regions. In Nizam Akhil has managed with 2.35 Crores while Krishna 70 lakhs, West Godavari - 50 Lakhs and Vizag is about 81 Lakhs. VV Vinayak is the director of this action entertainer which has been made with all commercial elements.

Major drawback in the film is second half and very poor VFX works along with weak story line. Sayeesha Saighal is seen as Akhil's lady love in this movie. Anup Rubens, SS Thaman and Mani Sharma are the music composers for the film. Nithin is the producer of this movie.
