Rudramadevi gets tax exemption in Telangana

Rudrama Devi, India’s first historic stereoscopic 3D movie which is one of the most anticipated films of the year is finally hitting the theaters tomorrow worldwide. Rudrama Devi is the story of warrior queen of Kakatiya dynasty essayed by Anushka, and Telangana Chief Minister KCR decided to make this magnum opus tax free in his state.

Yes, CM KCR has met the team and
announced the entertainment tax exemption to Rudramadevi movie, which also happens to be the first film in newly formed state to get the Government waiver.

Director-Producer Gunasekhar has approached KCR earlier today and asked for the tax benefit, and the Telangana CM has responded positively by announcing the exemption, and stated that his government will support the filmmakers who emphasize on the rich traditions and culture of the state.

Anushka, Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Krishnam Raju, Prakasj Raj, Catherine, Nithya Menon, Hamsa Nandini were associated with this big-budget film made on Guna Team Works banner.
