Comedian Kallu Chidambaram is no more

Actor-comedian Kallu Chidambaram has passed away on Monday morning in a private hospital in Visakhapatnam. He has been undergoing treatment for his prolonged illness from sometime, and had been on ventilation for over two months.

He was born on October 10th
in the year 1945, and is 70. Kallu Chidambaram was initially stage-artiste and came into the field at the age of 12. He made his entry with the film Kallu and since then the film title has been made his surname. He even won coveted state government Nandi film award for his performance in Kallu.

Kallu Chidambaram has acted in over 300 films and some of his noted works include Ammoru, Govinda Govinda, Money, Mrugaraju, Chanti, Pelli Pandiri etc. He had entertained Telugu audiences for decades with his typical style of acting and antics. May his soul rest in peace!
