Anushka’s Rudhramadevi pre-release buzz

With Anushka in the main role, the historical movie Rudramadevi is all set for a grand scale release on 9th October. This first historical stereoscopic 3D movie in India is directed and produced by Gunasekhar on a massive scale under his production house Guna Team Works banner.

Besides Anushka, the film has
very impressive casting including Allu Arjun who will be seen in the Warrior role as Gona Ganna Reddy. His role is going to be the major highlight with 50 minutes screentime. Rana will be seen as Chalukya Veerabhadra in this historical movie, while Rebel Star Krishnam Raju will be seen as Ganapathi Deva Chakravarthi, Prakash Raj as Mahamanthri Sivadevayya, Ajay as Prasadaditya, Baba Sehgal as Naga devudu, JayaPrakash Reddy as Amba Devudu, Catherine Tresa as Annambika and Hamsanandini as Madanika.

Apart from the huge casting, Rudramadevi which is shot in 3D format has massive sets, exotic locales, expensive jewellery and royal costumes. Padma Shri Thota Tharani supervised the sets, Neetha Lulla worked as costume designer, Ajay Vincent cranked the camera, Ram -Laxman supervised the stunts and Maestro Ilayaraja provided the soundtrack.

Rudramadevi has been under production from two years, and the historical film based on reality happened around 800 years back. The whopping budget, the historical story, the VFX works, the 3D format and the casting are all raising the expectations on Rudramadevi.
