Akhil Akkineni’s heroic debut film Akhil, which was supposed to hit the big-screens in October for Dussera has been postponed, and the makers are now planning to release the film on November 11, on the eve of Diwali. An official announcement on the release date however is awaited from the makers.
The change in the
release date of Akhil was due to the delay in the post-production works, said actor-turned-producer Nithin earlier. There are reports that Nagarjuna hasn’t liked a in CGI graphics for a particular scene involving a lion in the film, and the team has planned to rework on few scenes for a better version, and thus causing release delay.
Looks like the team of Akhil and the young actor’s family are not compromising on the output in anyway. The lavish technical values are going to be one of the highlighlights. VV Vinayak who is known as commercial mass director crafted Akhil with right mix of action, comedy, romance and mass elements.
Akhil romanced actress Sayesha Saigal who is also making her entry in Tollywood. Anup Rubens, SS. Thaman composed music and Amol Rathod is the DOP.
