Ram Charan’s Bruce Lee has hit the big-screens today on a massive scale. Ram Charan Bruce Lee Movie Review below on Zustcinema. It has turned most anticipated films of the season not just for being Ram Charan and Srinu Vytla combo, but also for Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s cameo. Let’s see what we have in store for us with Bruce Lee The Fighter Movie Review.

Story
Karthik (Ram Charan) loves his family to the core and sacrifices anything for them. He gives up his education for his sister Kavya(Kriti Kharbhanda) sake, and ends up being a stuntman with screen name Bruce Lee. Riya (Rakul Preet) is a game developer who falls for Karthik assuming he is a cop, and plans to design a game on him. As the story progresses, Karthik’s family starts facing problems from Jayraj (Sampath) and his son Deepak Raj (Arun Vijay). Who is this Jayraj and Deepak Raj and why did they mess with Karthik and his family? How does Karthik solve the problems? Where does Chiranjeevi come in? forms the rest.

Performances

Ram Charan looked super stylish and carries the film on his shoulders. His dances and fights are major highlight as always, while he also does a good job in the emotional scenes with Kriti Karbanda and Rao Ramesh.

Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s cameo is another major highlight, and it’s a delight to watch Chiranjeevi back on big-screens. He proves yet again that he has terrific screen presence. All credit to Srinu Vytla for showing him in a very good cameo.

Rakul Preet Singh is glamorous and gorgeous and fits in the Riya role aptly. Her role does have a bit of humor touch, and she does her dances on par with Ram Charan.

Kriti Kharbanda is beautiful and enacted well, while Arun Vijay earns brownie points for his balancing act. Brhamanandam is wasted in poor role, while Jaya Prakash Reddy manages to evoke some laughter. Rao Ramesh is perfect, Nadiya has not much to do, while Sampath Raj, Tisca Chopra are good. Vennela Kishore, . Posani Krishna Murali and Prithvi played their brief portions.

Technical Analysis

Thaman’s musical scores are very impressive, and Ram Charan, Rakul and the choreographers’ team have justified with the amazing dances for all the songs. Manoj Paramahamsa’s camera work is on top notch. Sreenu Vaitla’s direction was decent in the first hour, while the narration is slightly weak in the second hour. Story is predictable and screenplay lacked Sreenu Vaitla’s mark style. Dialogues are neat and entertaining while editing could have been better in the second half. Production values are rich.

Analysis

Srinu Vytla who is known to make entertaining films packing with loads of comedy and commercial elements, has this time focused more on action and emotional drama with Bruce Lee. The first half of the film is pretty good with a decent story setup and neat lead characterizations. But the second hour has turns quite routine and the tempo drops drastically. Sadly, the comedy doesn’t work in this Sreenu Vaitla movie, and too many comedians come and go.

However, Ram Charan is great in his dances, fights and improves in his emotional scenes. Besides Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi’s special appearance, Thaman’s trendy tunes and songs choreography, Rakul Preet Singh and JP comedy to an extent are positive points. On the negative side, lack of entertaining scenes in second hour and routine screenplay played the spoilsport.

All in all, Bruce Lee makes a decent family entertainer, if you don’t mind the routine stuff you have already watched in many Telugu films earlier.

ZC Take

Bruce Lee The Fighter- A regular family entertainer!
