Mirchi Story starts as
Jai
(Prabhas) is an architect in Milan,Italy falls for Manasa (Richa Gangopadhyay) on his fight sight.Manasa who return loves Jai, reveals about her family background.Listening to that Jai lands in India and heads to Palnadu region inorder to reform Manasa's family.
When everything goes on the way,Here comes Deva (Sathya Raj) who has grudge on Manasa's family.In his fight Jai knows that he has a flash back in Palnadu area.What is Jai's flashback ? Can Jai reform Manasa' film ? is the rest of the story.
Performances
Prabhas looks uber-cool as a lover and handsome as a family guy in the film.He is the asset of the movie as he carries entire plot on his shoulders.He excelled much in dances and performed action sequences at his best.Rebel Star's dialouge delivery was impresive.
Richa Gangopadhyay has wide role in first half.She is as best of her in performance and filled glamour quotient.
Anushka has smoldering looks as a villiage girl and sizzled in two song with Prabhas.Here we can says that this role is her best in recent times.Her performance was good.
Nadiya is beautiful ( thinks to be sister,but she is mother of Prabhas).Satyaraj is apt as Prabhas father,Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu entertainmented the most and others are neat.
Technical Analysis
Devi Sri Prasad's background score and songs are the major asset of the film.Dialogues are neat and had punch in them.AS Prakash's art is good,Editing is crisp and action sequenes are done well.Screenplay is much predictable.Production values are rich.
Analysis
First half of Mirchi takes off with entertaining stuff like love,comedy and songs.Prabhas excelled in his role and shared good chemistry with Richa.Brahmanandam and Prabhas entertaining comedy is only the story in the first half and reaches interval with a high voltage action sequence.
Second half takes in to the story which is much predictable.Every one has think of Shankam,Brindavanam and Dammu films when we are in to it.Anushka has limited role but sizzled with on-screen chemistry with Prabhas with best songs in the movie.Flashback of Prabhas is interesting reaches a weak climax in the end.This half has much of family emotional scenes along with action scenes and songs.
My Take :-
Mirchi is a cool entertainer which is Prabhas show all the way and has commericial inputs that works at box office.
