Rambabu's Camera Starts

Pawan Kalyan enters as Rambabu, a common man
working as mechanic responds strongly to news reports and punishes the culprits. Rambabu's passion and helping nature to society attracts Ganga (Tamanna).Ganga joins Rambabu as journalist in TV Channel of Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam.Rambabu now official goes on for more challenging news and hits to opposition party leader, also ex-CM Jawahar Naidu (Kota Srinivasa Rao).

Jawahar Naidu wants his son Rana Babu as CM and goes on troubling present CM Nasser for that cause. Rambabu counterfeits this situation and rest of the story is how Pawan Kalyan stops Prakash Raj from taking over and put an end to him..

Performances

Pawan Kalyan shows his power-packed action throughout of the film. What not??? Pawan does everything including political punch dialouges, and even in dances he showed his grace and he has a powerful screen presence. Power Star's emotional touch in Telugu Talli scenes were extraordinary to be mentioned. One word, it's all Pawan Kalyan's powerful show.

Tamanna was sensuous in songs but seemed to be loud in her character. Audience can feel that she is overacting in few scenes with Pawan Kalyan. But in second half, love scenes between Pawan and Tamanna worked out well which are worth watch.

Prakash Raj, Kota Srinivasa Rao are best in their roles, Brahmanandam, Ali characters were laugh riots, Nasser, Tanikella Bharani were at their best. Scarlet Wilson sizzled in item song, Gabriela turns irritation TV channel MD.

Technical Analysis

Mani Sharma songs were good on big screen than listening and background score was a big plus to powerful scenes in the film. Shyam K Naidu's Cinematography was good and colorful. Puri Jagannadh's dialogues are well placed but this time thumbs down for his direction. Fights are well executed and Editing does its work.

Analysis

It is the combo back!. Pawan Kalyan-Puri Jagannadh's power action entertainer released with high expectations and pre-release talk of the film also carried the film much impressive. Puri has penned Pawan Kalyan's character Rambabu, who has social responsibility made much stronger with timely punch dialouges from Pawan Kalyan. More expected comedy scenes between Pawan Kalyan, Brahmanandam and Ali turned out as much entertaining. First half is just ok with few comedy bits.

Second half of CGTR turns out to be major plus as the story goes with intensified political drama and dialogues by Pawan Kalyan that makes audience connect emotional to the film. Love scenes between Powerstar and Tamanna were shot well.

Puri Jagannadh might have taken much care in screenplay along with Prakash Raj's characterisation which was dull at the moments.The climax was big setback with unconvincing end of the film. Few scenes between Pawan Kalyan and Prakash Raj worked out well but graphics done for this film were not up to the mark.

My take

Watch it for Pawan Kalyan’s terrific power-packed action. Cameraman Ganga tho Rambabu a decent watchable film for this Dussera with entire family.
